Warranty Policy

Warranty Time

KiWiBiRD products include a 12-month limited warranty from the purchase date. During this period, if a quality-related defect occurs under normal use, KiWiBiRD will, at its option, replace the product or issue a refund. This warranty is provided by YAMASUN CAPITAL LIMITED and does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Warranty Process

  1. Proof of purchase: order number from ikiwibird.com or authorized resellers (e.g., KiWiBiRD official Amazon stores), and the invoice/receipt.
  2. Issue description: clear description of the defect and when it occurs.
  3. Evidence: photos or a short video showing the defect; product serial/batch number if available.
  4. Return for inspection (if required): we may ask you to return the item for quality inspection and will provide the return address/process by email.

Amazon orders: if within Amazon’s return window (e.g., 30 days), please use Amazon’s return process first. After the platform window closes, contact KiWiBiRD per this policy.

Buyer Is Responsible for Shipping Costs in the Following Situations

  • Returns for reasons other than a proven defect (beyond the store/platform return window).
  • Warranty claims after taking the item outside the original country of purchase.
  • Items claimed defective but confirmed no fault found upon inspection.
  • International return shipping and related duties.
  • Costs arising from unauthorized returns (returns made outside the approved warranty process).

For confirmed quality issues, we may offer prepaid labels or shipping subsidies depending on region/order specifics, as confirmed in our support email.

Not Covered Under Warranty

  • Products without valid proof of purchase.
  • Lost or stolen products.
  • Items outside the warranty period.
  • Non quality-related issues after 30 days from purchase.
  • Free gifts, samples, trial units.
  • Repairs/modifications by unauthorized third parties.
  • Damage from external causes (drops/impacts, liquid ingress, extreme temperatures, foreign objects, incorrect voltage/ports, force majeure).
  • Damage due to misuse or not following the user manual.
  • Purchases from unauthorized resellers, second-hand or auction channels.

Remedies

Where a warranty claim is approved, KiWiBiRD will, at its option, provide: (a) replacement with the same or equivalent value (if the same model is unavailable), or (b) a partial/full refund depending on usage period, defect specifics, and applicable law. Any replacement continues under the remaining original warranty term.

Include: proof of purchase, issue description, photos/video, return address and phone number.

Limitation of Liability

Except where prohibited by law, KiWiBiRD shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of England & Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
